If you’re reading this on Medium or stumbled across my personal site at marcodemeireles.com, I wanted to let you know where you can find my latest writing.
I’ve made the move to Substack, where I’m now publishing regularly. It’s where all my new posts live, and where (time permitting) I’ll build something a bit more intentional than the scattered presence I’ve maintained across various platforms over the years.
Why Substack?
Honestly, it came down to a few simple things: direct connection with readers, ownership over my content and audience, and a platform that gets out of the way and lets the writing be the thing. No fighting for attention in an endless feed. No playing with formatting. Just writing, delivered to people who actually want to read it. I also have spent time with Chris Best, and have a soft spot for my former partners investment in the business.
I’ve enjoyed WordPress over the years, and it served its purpose. But I’m at a point where I want something that feels more like having a conversation with people who’ve chosen to be part of it.
What You’ll Find There
I plan to write about the things in my life — my work, my people and the ideas that shape how I see the world. If you’ve followed my writing before, you know what to expect. If you’re new here, welcome. I hope you’ll join me.
Come Find Me
Head over to my Substack and subscribe if you’d like to keep up with what I’m writing. That’s where you’ll find everything new going forward.
Thanks for reading, wherever you’ve found me over the years. I hope to see you over there.
— Marco
P.S. — Old posts will stay up here and on marcodemeireles.com for anyone who wants to browse the archives, but all new writing lives on Substack now.
